Mental Health Awareness Course

09 December 2019

23rd January 2020 – Ipswich

January is arguably the toughest month of the year.

Everyone is impacted by mental illness in some way, whether they personally struggle or they know someone who does.

This course is designed to ensure your staff have the tools they need to manage mental health in the workplace. It will inform them of the risk factors, symptoms, treatment, and prevention methods. It will allow them to help the people around them and make for a workplace that is more informed and accepting about mental illness.

As an employer, you have a duty to protect the health, safety and welfare of your employees and other people who might be affected by your business.

You must do whatever is reasonably practicable to achieve this.  You have a legal responsibility to assess your employees’ risk of workplace stress, and respond appropriately to that assessment.

As well as legal requirements, there are benefits from savings on costs due to sickness absence, replacing staff, increased productivity and reduced accident rates.

To recognise this PSHR, MossHR and edu-c8 Training have teamed together to deliver Mental Health Awareness training.

Thursday 23 January with either a morning or afternoon session available.
