Community

No matter how difficult we believe our lives to be

there’s always someone who has to face challenges that are even tougher. We believe that it is important and invaluable to give back where we can.

Corporate Social Responsibility Statement

We want to be a responsible business that meets the highest standards of ethics and professionalism

We will:

  • Build integrity and fairness into our working day
  • Ensure that all our business operations are legitimate
  • Respect the law
  • Honour our internal policies
  • Respect our employees, clients, suppliers and community
  • Encourage a harmonious and supportive working environment
  • Keep every partnership and collaboration open and transparent

We support charitable and community causes in a number of ways…

  • We are proud to offer our cloud-based HR system, PSHR Online free of charge for charities with fewer than 250 employees.
  • Emma sits on the Board of Governors for Fairfield and Colnies schools in Felixstowe, offering time and advice free of charge.
  • We love to celebrate International Women’s Day and champion the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.  As a female owned business, we feel this is something to shout about and recognise that each of our employees have built successful careers, support their clients and also balance busy lives outside of work.
  • We will always strive for excellence, in both our personal and work lives, living by our integrity and values.

Joanne takes part in the Race for Life every year, raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK.

Promoting the services of The Mix, our charity partner, at the Anglia Business Exhibition in May 2018 – we raffled off a luxury hamper, won by Mr John Stringer of Magnus Group, raising £50 for The Mix!

We host an annual Ladies’ VP Lunch at Felixstowe Rugby Club to raise funds for the club. As well as having the men’s 1st XV, they have The Honey Badgers women’s rugby team and several youth teams.

Paula took part in a White-Collar Boxing Match in aid of The Ipswich Hospital Diabetes Centre to fund a day out for children with diabetes.

The Mix Charity Partner

We are thrilled to have formed a charity partnership with The Mix, Stowmarket

The Mix strive to provide young people with opportunities, support and encouragement at the right time and in the right place.

The Mix offers free counselling and coaching to young people and is one of the very few organisations that offer this service in Suffolk.  Currently there is a 6 month waiting list for counselling and with mental health problems in young people increasing, we would like to make a difference by helping to fund another counsellor.

The aim is to support The Mix by:

  • Offering free HR advice and guidance to their employees
  • Free use of the PSHR Online system
  • Supporting young people with career guidance and counselling
  • Putting on fundraising events
